Deaf Awareness Week 2014

“Equality In Communication For All”
As a Community Interest Company, Sign Lingual UK is committed to supplying services for the deaf community in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. This commitment includes running local deaf meetings where people can socialise, share views and information; training for individuals in British Sign Language (BSL) and also helping with the translation of any letters or paperwork they may find difficult. Based at Bloxham Mill since February of last year, one of Banbury’s major secondary schools has embraced deaf awareness and the number of students wanting to study Sign Language has been extremely encouraging. Sign Lingual UK will be active in Banbury’s community during national Deaf Awareness Week, commencing 19th May.
